PAYDirect is a PC-based online, realtime (interbank and intrabank)payment collections and remittance solution. The solution affords the

customer (government,corporate or individual) the access online realtime information on payments made by its customers for its services.
 
The PAYDirect solution allows cash, cheque and bankdrafts payments to be lodged within it. It is also a multibank solution as it is hosted centrally at InterSwitch and accessed by member banks through the virtual private network.

Typically, the PAYDirect solution is managed by banks tellers on behalf of the customer.
