INTERSWITCH IMPLEMENTS ATM PROCESSING FOR SIERRA LEONE COMMERCIAL BANK
Interswitch Limited announced today the successful completion of its ATM driving solutions for Sierra Leone Commercial Bank to drive growth in the electronic payments arena in Sierra Leone, and also reduce the cost of retail transactions.
InterSwitch ATM driving solution controls and drives ATMs (including states and screens) directly, performs centralized routing, security processing, reconciliation, and proactive monitoring functions.
Sierra Leone Commercial Bank Ltd, by this solution, will be able to issue Debit Card payment instruments to its own customers that can be used on any of the customer touch points. The prime objective is to achieve high service excellence through multi channel service platforms that will ensure convenience and ubiquity. “Sierra Leone Commercial Bank is excited to offer customer convenience through electronic delivery,” said Mr. George Taylor, Executive Director, Information Technology. “The addition of this electronic delivery channel will enable us to provide our customers greater access to their accounts and will give us long-term cost reductions.”
Interswitch’s ATM Driving solution will enable Sierra Leone Commercial Bank to control its ATM network in real time with ATM driving, ATM monitoring and ATM reporting. The solution runs on the Postilion software suites of product.

The implementation of the ATM Driving solution to handle all aspects of ATM transaction processing and management in these locations will assure the maximum availability of ATM services for their customers.
