Mr. Mitchell Elegbe
Managing Director/CEO |
Mr. Elegbe has been charged with the
responsibility of leading a team of dedicated Nigerians as the pioneer
management of InterSwitch Limited since inception in December 2002.
Before joining InterSwitch, he was the Head, Group Marketing and Business
Solutions of TELNET (Nig) Ltd where he conceived the idea of building a
nationwide switch in early 2001. Working with Accenture and Nine (9) leading
banks in Nigeria, Mr. Elegbe managed the project from design, proving of the
concept, to the eventual setup of the company responsible for managing the
shared infrastructure.
Mr. Elegbe studied Electrical / Electronics Engineering at the University of
Benin. He has attended several professional and management courses in South
Africa, Spain and the United Kingdom, and has a British Computer Society
Certificate in IT Service Management.
He started his career with CSA (Computer Systems Associates, Lagos) as part of a
team that implemented software solutions that enable Nigerian Banks connect to
the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT). His
career also extended to iTECO Limited (Lagos) as a Network Engineer and
Schlumberger Wireline & Testing (Scotland) as a Field Engineer. He joined TELNET
in 1997 and was responsible for Business Development, Corporate Sales, Solution
Selling, Customer & Supplier Relationship Management, as well as the
conceptualization and implementation of new products. |

Mr. Akeem Lawal
Director, Payment
Infrastructure and
Processing |
Mr. Lawal is a First Class Electrical /
Electronics Engineering graduate of the University of Benin with over eight (8)
years cognate experience in the implementation and management of projects in the
Financial Services sector, Information and Communications Technology as well as
the Oil & Gas industry. Mr. Lawal was the head of the technical team that
deployed the InterSwitch Super Switch infrastructure, and has been working at
InterSwitch Limited from inception.
Before joining InterSwitch, he was a Senior Engineer at TELNET (Nig) Ltd. He
also worked at Oildata Services Port Harcourt prior to joining TELNET. While at
TELNET, he was responsible for Identifying new business opportunities,
exploiting these opportunities with minimal time-to-market, and expanding the
company’s market share in these new businesses for greater profitability and
competitiveness.
Mr. Lawal has attended several local and International seminars and training
courses in Project Management, Electronic Funds Transfer / Transaction
Processing and Electronic Point-Of-Sale Infocommerce. He is an Associate Member
of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE), as well as a Member of the
Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).

Mr. Charles Ifedi
Director, Payment
Solutions and Business
Expansion |
Mr. Ifedi has over ten (10) years experience in the design, development and
implementation of innovative technology solutions for business issues, mainly in
the financial services sector. Mr. Ifedi was a member of the project team that
developed the business plan for InterSwitch Limited, and has been working at
InterSwitch Limited from inception.
He has been involved in product development, software design, development, MIS
reports design, banking application implementation, software & process review,
business process re-engineering as well as strategy for payment and settlement
systems.
Prior to joining InterSwitch, he worked in world class consulting and
professional services firms including Accenture and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He
also worked with American Express in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Ifedi is a First Class Computer Science graduate from the University of
Ilorin, Nigeria. He also has an MBA from Cranfield University (UK) where he was
adjudged as the student most likely to succeed in business and management.

Mr. Dapo Omoni
Chief Financial Officer |
Mr. Omoni has seventeen (17) years experience in audit, consulting, corporate
finance and tax management.
He started his career in the international firm of Ernst & Young LLP where he
qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998. He later joined Canadian Petroleum
Nigeria Limited as the pioneer Joint Venture Accountant and later British
American Tobacco as Operations Finance Manager with responsibility for 2
factories, a leaf growing operation and central procurement with a combined
annual budget in excess of $400M.
He has a passion for financial analysis and innovative funding mechanisms.
Mr. Omoni has two degrees in Agricultural Economics from the University of
Ibadan, Nigeria. In addition to his professional accounting qualification, he is
an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

Mrs. Tito Adeniyi-Aderoju
Chief Marketing Officer |
Mrs. Aderoju has used her broad based skills in strategy, business development,
relationship management, marketing and project management to shore up
InterSwitch’s clients portfolio.
Prior to joining InterSwitch, Aderoju has over 8 years industry experience in a
variety of sectors including IT and banking, e-commerce, engineering, aviation
and automobile. Among the places she had worked are Virgin Atlantic and Access
Bank.
While working in multicultural, cross-functional teams within a Fortune 500
corporate environment, Aderoju has garnered enough experience to lead a team of
dedicated marketing professionals.
She holds a first degree in Engineering, is a Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer, and has an MBA from University of Cranfield, among other
qualifications.

Mrs. Bukky Adeyinka
Chief Human Capital Officer |
Mrs. Adeyinka has over eight (8) years experience in Human resources Management.
Her diverse background includes multinational organizations in the medical, IT
consulting and Telecommunication industries.
Prior to joining InterSwitch, she worked for a telecommunication services
provider in Lagos, Nigeria where she set up the entire Human Resource function.
She has spent most of her career working in world class companies in Houston,
Texas as a senior HR professional before returning to Nigeria.
Mrs. Adeyinka, is a Psychology degree graduate from the University of Houston
Texas. She also holds a Masters degree in Organizational Management with an
emphasis in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr. Tayo Koleosho
Chief Risk Officer |
Mr. Tayo Koleosho has over 10 years experience in diverse areas with special
focus in information security management, security assessment, project risk
assessment management, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Prior to joining InterSwitch, he worked for BearingPoint formerly (KPMG
Consulting) as a manager in the Risk, Security and Compliance group. He has also
worked for the Johns Hopkins HealthCare, Honeywell International and consulted
with American Express on enterprise risk management strategy.
Mr. Koleosho holds a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from John
Hopkins University, USA and is certified in the following areas: Project
management, Six Sigma, Information systems security to mention a few.
